Privacy notice.
ProvenAEO is free and open to use. This plain-language notice describes what we collect and why. We will update it as the product evolves.
What we collect
- Account details you submit when you create a free account: name, email, job title, and company.
- URLs you submit for audit, the resulting scorecards, and audit history. You control which URLs are submitted.
- Anonymous scans you run without an account: we store the scanned URL and its result so the result has a shareable link you can return to. These records are kept for 30 days, then automatically deleted.
- Standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for rate limiting and incident response. Logs are retained for the shortest period needed to operate the service.
What we do not do
- Sell, rent, or share your contact details with third parties.
- Use your data to train AI models.
- Track you across other sites. We do not run advertising pixels.
Vendors we use
ProvenAEO runs on Vercel and Supabase. Transactional email is sent through Resend. Entity enrichment for the Organization schema generator and author verification uses AnySite. Each vendor processes only the data needed to perform its function.
